LEADER Megan Abou-Afia DESCRIPTION

The Langeman family have had a challenging year. Sue fell and broke her hip last summer (she’s 81) and Walt broke his neck 7 weeks ago while taking a walk (he is 82). They were both super active before their accidents, but now they both cannot drive. They are blessed with family members that are able to take them to physical therapy, pick up medications, groceries, etc. Their family tries to keep up with the house too, but it gets a little overwhelming. Walt purchased bags of mulch before his fall and they haven’t been able to spread it outside. Come be a blessing to the Langeman family! We will spread their mulch for them, plant some flowers, and be the hands and feet of Jesus! Children welcome and encouraged to join.

LEADER Al and Maryanne Kinney DESCRIPTION

Let’s come together at Heartland Church to cover our serve day projects in prayer. We will begin by joining the church at Saturday Morning Prayer at 9:00 AM in the Chapel. Please arrive by 9:00am and come directly to the Chapel. Once Saturday Morning Prayer is over, we will do a quick SERVE Day huddle in the cafe area and then commence the second half of our SERVE Day prayer project by walking the outside grounds and the interior of the building. What an awesome opportunity to uplift our teams in prayer before the Lord! We will provide a list of all the projects that are taking place and some specific prayer points to cover during this time. Can't wait to see you for SERVE Day!
