Come help serve and clean up one of our closest neighborhoods! We will be meeting together, praying, and then splitting off in teams to clean areas of the neighborhood of Hunters Run, right next to Heartland Church.

Justus Family Recovery House is opening their door to women and children August 1st, 2022! They need help getting it ready for their ribbon cutting ceremony! Things needed done: Planting flowers Weed picking Laying mulch 12 Lockers need stickers scraped off. Praying over the house… This project has 2 Serve opportunities… First one is on Saturday, July 9th 2022 & the second one is Saturday July 16th! So if your unavailable on one date you can try the other or serve on both!!

Deep clean inside of House (baseboards, mopping, cleaning windows etc) Organizing clothing closet/pantry areas (one includes putting up some shelving etc) Possibly power washing the outside of the House We may also have a pergola type of project to put up outback (more to come on that one)

Come out to Noblesville & assist a family of the Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County in weeding and mulching their yard. Please bring your own gardening gloves!

We will be serving Hilda who is a single mom in our community by helping with some painting needs around her home.

We will be doing outreach in the community, approaching individuals to share God’s love, pray for them, and share the Gospel as the Holy Spirit leads. This group will be limited to our current women’s small group members and other ladies who would like to join us for training by July 2. We meet Saturday mornings from 10-12 in McCordsville.

We will deliver snacks and fruit that we individually have contributed to deliver to the police and fire depts in Fishers then walk around the town center praying for our community

Cathy Lieberman lives in Fishers with no family nearby. She needs assistance with landscaping (gardening, weeding, bushes removed, grass mowed, edging, etc.), pressure washing brick, trees trimmed, gutters cleaned. There’s a grill that has wasps nests in it that need to be killed and removed. Ants are somehow getting into her home. Would be great to locate how they are getting in and kill the ants. There’s a piece of siding missing on house that needs to be replaced/repaired. Her oven is broken and not sure what needs to be fixed. Let’s love on Ms. Cathy and get this stuff done for her!

We will throughly clean and organize a house in the Fishers community. Activities include; packing/moving boxes to a local storage facility, organizing multiple areas and minor repairs. Items needed: trash bags, packing tape, medium sized boxes, tools and a truck

When you arrive, volunteers will help sort and bag food items for distribution.  Beginning about 10:15am we will begin distribution of foods through our drive thru pantry.  Volunteers will then be assigned jobs such as (load breads, vegetable bags, meats, sweet bags, etc) into cars.  Once distribution is completed at about 12:30pm, volunteers will help bring everything back into building and put away

Heartland Church is excited to bless Lambswear on Serve Day again this year. Lambswear is a nonprofit organization that collects gently used children’s clothing. The clothing is distributed throughout the Indianapolis area through many outreach partners. Any family can request clothing through Lambswear. https://www.lambswear.org/ Help is needed with sorting clothing, organizing and filling orders, and other small projects. We will all stay for two hours, but we may stay longer if more projects need to be completed. Please wear your red Serve Day shirt. Also, let’s all bring at least 1-2 packages of new children’s underwear (sizes 2T through Youth 14/16) and/or socks (any sizes) to donate! If you have any gently used children’s clothing (tops, bottoms, PJ’s) that you would like to bring along to donate, you can do that too. Thank you!
